A world of sweet romance with a whisper of angels' wings

Welcome to my cyber-home!

Hi, I'm Delia (and just so you don't waste time wondering...in my case, that's pronounced Deela). I'm an author of Inspirational Romance and Women's Fiction, with an occasional simply clean and wholesome short story or perhaps a devotion tossed in the mix. You'll always find a touch of the divine in my tales of sweet romance, so I hope you're not put off by the subtle flutter of angels' wings. Does the idea of unexpected hugs from Heaven make you uncomfortable...or does it make you say, "Me too, Lord - my turn!"? I truly hope you chose the latter, because miraculous moments are part of the tapestry when God weaves the story. I love those special touches, and if you don't already, I pray you will once you've read the stories of faith and love that God has inspired in me. I'd love to hear from you after you've had a chance to explore my novels, novellas, and short stories. Be blessed...and read on!

BUTTERFLY HEARTS

As Sean grows closer to Julie and their new friends at Whispering Willow, his heart yearns for that special something they all have, something he does not. Is it possible that God would accept a blatant sinner like him into His family? And can Julie ever see him as anything but the arrogant player he’d once prided himself on being?

Dawni Manors is happy to see San Antonio in her rearview mirror. In search of peace, she rents a unit at Heart's Haven, a quaint cottage-rental complex in East Texas. The place is said to be a hangout for angels—and for love. Dawni's not looking for love, and she's not convinced angels exist. What she yearns for is tranquility and hope.

Instead, she finds former pro Cowboy Gavin Sampson, an abandoned infant, and a whole lot of emotional chaos. If the Heart's Haven angels are really real, what in the world are they thinking?

Tim Kerschner’s attachment to a solitary aspen on property he inherits goes much deeper than aesthetics. Can he make landscape architect Ryann Dean understand his refusal to let her chop down this single tree in a forest of them?

Ryann loves her job in Bliss, Oregon. Junior high teacher Tim Kerschner, on the other hand, she’d be happy to have never met. The man’s handsome face loses any appeal in light of his arrogance and obvious inclination to violence—the latter of which Ryann despises for reasons close to her heart.

A visit to what lies within the branches of the controversial tree could give them both a whole new outlook on life...and on each other.

Days of My Life

Currently working on a revamp of my podcast, which came to an abrupt halt with the onset of Covid. I enjoyed doing it, and I'm setting up to get going again. Maybe I'll work it in as a once-a-week addition to a new blog? Stay tuned.
