Do you have a longing that has never been fulfilled?
That was the inspiration for my newest release “Forever Changed.”
I married and divorced at a young age and then followed that relationship years later with an abusive situation.
However, my greatest desire has always been to have a family and to be a mother. A dream that never materialized and I have grieved over the years.
So the situation made me wonder, what would happen if I were suddenly saddled with a family of my own. How would I react?
What if all my dreams were about to come true at a pivotal moment in time?
That was the catalyst for the premise of “Forever Changed.”
Danielle Davis is starring in her first leading role on Broadway when she discovers her sister and brother-in-law have tragically died. Upon her return to South Carolina, Danielle discovers she’s responsible for her sister’s seven children, two grandmothers, a farm, and store.
She’s overwhelmed and doesn’t want to be there, as she tries to figure out her next steps and how to reconcile her new reality with the past and her dreams.
Life isn’t easy or simple for Danielle, anymore than it is for the rest of us. There’s a lot of inner turmoil and struggles, as she works through these turns and the way life keeps throwing one twist after another.
John 16:33 says, "In this world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
We all have burdens to carry and difficult situations we must carry. How has life thrown a wrench into your plans?
